OK, here is my story- I have shoulder length, naturaly wavy(frizzy) dark brown hair- but with some products and work (big curling iron) I can get it smooth and straight. I have always wanted to try straight blonde hair. I have not had my hair staightened fot months. About a month ago my stylist put in heavy blonde highlights, but it wasn't enough for me, so I went back a few days later and she put even more in, but my problem was that for some reason she can't go up to the roots so I left feeling like I already need a touch-up (at least 1 inch of dark brown roots)-she said that she can'y go up to the roots or they would turn orange for some reason. Anyways, that was about a month ago and I hated looking at those roots, so I got desperate and decided to bleach on my own (I can't afford to go back to the salon a third time!)- so I got Clairol Maxi-Blonde and tried it last night - now my hair is yellow in some parts and orange in others (and brown in the parts I missed!)Not to mention very dry- I don't know if my hair can handle another try. At this point, would it damage my hair more to try to go back to brown? Or what should I do? What is a filler, do I need one? HELP!
