I have long, thick, coarse hair that I've let grow to one length with bangs on forehead and top cut short to feather up and back. I had a perm about 6 months ago. The perm looked like a spiral perm. My hair grows really fast and the perm has grown about half way out. The problem I have is it looks bad in the back with it half grown out and it is very frizzie. What can I put on it for the frizz? I would like to start trying to make it straighter if I can. I really like the style on page 26 number 4. I have tried different products for the frizz, but nothing is working. I wash my hair every other day and dry it with a diffuser on low heat low speed. Please help!Thankyou

Please help!> ThankyouHi Linda,Have you had your hair trimmed since the perm? Sometimes just that makes a big difference in the amount of frizz. Also, If you want to straighen your hair more, try this: Once you have dried it roll it on big velcro rollers, lightly mist it with a thermal setting spray, and go over it with the hairdryer just to heat up the set a bit. Let it cool down for a few minutes, and when you take out the rollers, you will have a smoother straighter look. Remember to use the largest rollers you can find. This is similar to a hot roller set, except that you are using a much larger roller. Although I tend to stick to salon products when I am recommending something, I have really liked the results Ive seen with Frizz-ease Hair Serum. You can buy it in most drugstores. This also helps to tame the frizz whether you straighten or leave your hair curly. One last thing... I am in the process of trying a new line in my salon called "Straight Sexy Hair" from Ecoly. I got it at a show, and it was touted as the best non chemical straightener on the market. It may be worth a try for you. Since I haven't had the chance to use it yet, I cant say for sure if it as great as they claim, but I would love to hear from others about this new product, if anyone has tried it yet.
