Last night I was telling my 8 year old niece about some of the bad fashions I went through and she almost fell off her chair laughing when I showed her my graduation picture (1991)!I had HUGE hair! It was a big poofed out monstrosity, hairsprayed within an inch of it's life. And bad makeup too. bright blues and neon pinks!I then started to tell her that MY hair wasn't as big as alot of the other girls of this era. She couldn't believe that this was as popular a trend as it was. She said no way would girls be seen with hair that wierd.Does any one else remember this bad era in hair-history? Did any one else have "big hair?" How high wasyours? how big was the BIGGEST hair you can remember (therewas always the one girl who had the HIGHEST bangs...Iremember some girls used to measure theirs (yikes) Also what was your hairspray of choice back then?If any one has any pictures they can send me. I'd love to show them to my niece she'll get a huge kick out of them (my yearbooks are back home)ThanksMiss

I used to wear my hair a full 6-8 inches out from my head in almost every direction...I think I watched one too many Duran Duran videos and it effected my brain. In any case, I used Aqua Net in the heavy duty industrial strength to achieve these gravity defying hair don'ts, as well as spraying and blow-drying it upside down.Click here to see a picture from my past. I'm soooo ashamed...
