| i'm planning on cutting my hair. all i have for short hair guards is a blending guard. do ya'll know what that would be the equivalent to? is that gonna make my hair too short to try and maintain my waves? |

i ACTUALLY CUT MY HAIR RIGHT THIS TIME, AND I DIDN'T GO AGAINST THA GRAIN(I WAS SCARED) I JUST WENT WITH THE WAVE PATTERN. WELL I HAVE OSTER CLIPPERS, BUT IF A BARBER CUTS UR HAIR U REALLY DON'T HAVE MUCH OF A CHOICE. PLUS, HE WILL CUT AGAINST THA GRAIN IF U DO CUT UR HAIR. 2 RULES: 1.DON'T CUT AGAINST THA GRAIN. 2.GO VERY SLOWLY, AND VERY GENTLY, AND I MEAN VERY GENTLY...OR YOU'LL HAVE A PATCH BCUZ MOST PEOPLE GET ANXIOUS AND THINK THEY KNOW WUT THEY DOIN..... actually, i did a search. a typical guard set includes the following: Seven sizes of clipper blade combs for desired length of cut: 1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 1/2",3/4", 1" and 1 1/4" what size would work best for a dark ceas? ------------- |

1/16", 1/8" is the ones i use. Dont try to cut ur hair :/ and card. cant teach u 2 cut your hair from behind a computer. ------------- |
