Three months ago, I decided to have my hair colored a deep red. Prior to this I was a dishwater blonde with many different blonde scattered highlights. I found the red too drastic, so returned six weeks later and had some highlights added, giving me a more strawberry blonde look. Today, another six weeks later I went back in and expressed my desire to have my base color changed back to a medium brown to closely match my natural shade, and then have a few golden highlights placed around my face. What I got instead was a head full of very blonde highlights combined with still red areas....I look a little like Bonnie Raitt now...great musician, just don't care for her hair!! My stylist asked me to come back tomorrow so she could apply a toner to the whole mess....I asked if it would be possible to perhaps apply a light brown to the overly lightened strands...she said she'd have to think about it tonight. I've really got amess on my hands, and am beginning to wonder if she knows what she's doing. She seemed quite surprised by the reaults...but she also did come highly recommended to me. Help! ASAP
