Hi. Rrally like this board. Lots of info for all kinds of stuff. Here's my question, I have dark blonde {dishwaterblonde} some say kinda light brown hair color. Would like to lighten it to maybe a medium blonde. Nothing to drastic just to put some color in it. Want allover color. Can't afford salon coloring so what is a good one to buy at the drugstore? Colored my hair years ago but alot of the products are no more. Also can I get coloring products like at Sally beauty supply and other places? Are they good products or the same you can get at drugstores? Thanks for any advice anyone may have on the subject.Sue

Hey Sue....I was at Sally this afternoon and they are introducing a new line of toners. I lightened a clients hair today and her story was almost exactly yours. We lightened her hair with a nice 20 vol developer and toned it medium beige blonde. I purchase my own personal products at Sally, and I guarantee I lighten my hair much more than yours needs. I will be glad to help here, or you can post me a message on our forum.SabrinaRelated Link:Help for those becoming blonde

Does it come in a box like Clairol and the other brands? Is it the same kind of coloring as theirs, or would the stuff from Sally's be better for your hair? I should also add I have very fine hair. Just above the shoulder length and cut in long layers. Blunt cuts do nothing for my hair. The layers add a bit of body. I use the amplify gel and rootlifter to give it a boost. Still thinking about the coloring but just can't decide exactly what to do.Sue
