Hi,I have fine hair (but lots of it) which is normally oily. (if I skip a day of washing, it's grease city) Right now I still have an old perm (since spring '99)... My newest hair since the perm is down to the top of my ears and the perm has loosened quite a bit.. to just being a bit wavy... although when I brush it, it gets frizzy (just static I think).I am currently using Pears daily care shampoo every day and Pears daily care conditioner once a week. Once a month I use Tea Tree Shampoo to remove buildup. (just started this regimen). Before that I was using Pantene 2 in 1 for Normal hair.I was wondering what your various opinions would be on whether I should keep doing what I have just started... or change to something else? And if I should change... then what should I try?I noticed last time I bought shampoo that most of the shampoos available were 2 in 1's... didn't really want to get Pears but everything else was 2 in 1. (didn't notice before since I always bought 2 in 1 anyway)I was looking initially for shampoo for Oily hair... but all I found was shampoo for normal, dry/damaged, and colour treated hair. One was even for Normal to Dry hair. What should I look for then? Shampoo for Oily hair? Or shampoo for permed hair? Just a gentle daily care shampoo?Or a shampoo for fine hair? How often should I be shampooing? How often should I be using conditioner? How often should I use the clarifying shampoo? (Tea Tree)I'd also like to mention that in the past it has been very hard for a perm to take.... the alarm would go off several times for the stylist to check my hair, and each time the stylist would say "oh... it's STILL not ready!!... and she'd have to set the alarm again".Except the last time... my hair seemed to be done much quicker this time. And this is the best perm I had ever gotten if I go by the amount of tangles and dryness. Although that could be because I didn't use a blow dryer this time and I waited until my hair was dry before picking it and I never combed or brushed it. I do comb and brush it now though since my hair is almost straight again now anyway.
