Hi!I hope you can help me. I'm about 65% grey. I used to be chestnut brown and still have dark eye brows. I've been coloring my hair for 10 years. About a year ago I got tired of touchups every 3 weeks and the white "skunk strip" after just two weeks so by hairdresser recommented going lighter to blend in with the greys better. After many, many different stages that included stripping, single process then foiling and more, I am now a single process dark golden blonde. The problem is that my hair looks like straw. It was always super shiny when it was dark and now its terribly dull. My hairdresser has tried all sorts of conditioning and moisturizing including prizim (sp) but still my hair looks drab. What do you recommend to add shine. She uses a Matrix color. When I colored at home and used Clariol it was shiny. I'm tempted to buy L'Oreal Hydrience dark blonde and give it a try. Any help would be wonderful! I don;t want to look like strawman for Christmas.Thank you, thank you,Rachel

I used that when my hair was in bad shape. Secondly, I don't think that matrix has nice color. I think it is too harsh. When hair is darker it is easier for it to look shinier. For a temporary solution spraying on a spray shine, (they have them at drug stores) will help it LOOK healthier. Putting ANOTHER color on top isn't going to help. You will have to repair your hair first. Hope I helped a little.
