I have an oval shaped face and my forehead is kind of short. I am growing my hair and I really want to grow my bangs. Trouble is, is that I may not look so great without bangs, but I am tired of them. I guess my question is this: Can a gal with an oval shaped face and a short forehead get away with no bangs? A stylist from long ago told me that it didn`t matter what shape face you have in whether you wear bangs or not, but I just don`t know. Anyone else with this problem?

Hi Meg,

Sounds like you want to grow out your bangs. Go ahead! You`ve got nothing to lose by trying; if you change your mind you can get them back. I`m sure you would look just fine without bangs.

Hi Meg,

I think that you should go for it and grow out your bangs, I see no real reason why you won`t look just great. And worse case scenario is, if you don`t like the result, get some bangs cut again. I just hope that you wouldn`t go and cut the rest of your hair as well! Please let that keep growing!

Best Wishes,

john

Hi gmoney and thanks to you too for the much needed support. I believe that I will give it a try and like you say, I can always cut them back in. Hey don`t worry, I`m not cutting this hair, no way, I`ve got my mind made up for sure! When the signs go into the thighs, I think it`s Sagitarius(SP), I`m going to get a slight trim because that`s supposed to be the perfect time and it`s supposed to grow like crazy, only in the thighs though. Old wives tale.......Thanks again:) Meg

Hi Meg,

You can also cut your hair when the moon is new and that often helps hair grow faster. Another astrology tale. Does it work? Some people swear by it and others think it is hooey.

The oval face shape can wear most styles. So you are lucky. I have a round face and need bangs or I think I look like a bowling ball with long hair attached. :-)

And yes, thighs are Sagittarius.

Best wishes,
Karen

Hi Karen, If someone told me that standing on my head five times a day, with peanut butter in my mouth, would make my hair grow faster, I`d be running for the peanut butter right now:)

I`m a sucker for those old wives tales and I figure it won`t hurt to try right??? Now, I`ve got to find out when the next new moon will be. I wonder, if it is a new moon and the signs are in the thighs both at the same time, will it grow twice as fast???;) Meg
