HiMy major problem is that my hair is extremely thick and quite wavy. As a child it was dead straight but unfortunately puberty set in in and now it is quite out of hand. I layered my hair a few years back in an effort tothin it out but it caused it to curl even more. After about a year I finally managed to get my hair back to one length and it just about covered the top of my ears but it was too thick for me to handle. Anyway 2 weeks ago I decided to layer it again(I think I forgot about how terrible thelayering looked in the first place ) but my usual stylist was out that day and I have a fleeting suspicion that the person they gave me was only an apprentice.I still have my length but unfortunately the layers are really short and my hair looks even thicker than ever before. In fact the sides are flicking , leaving me looking like a Farrah Fawcett wannabe. I am in desperate need of help , I wanted to like like Scott Speedman (Inthe first season of Felicity ) but instead I look like am living out my Saturday Night Fever / Dallas/Dynasty fantasy.Could you suggest a style for me that would make it much easier to handle, much easier to style and also that would look more decent without having tosacrifice length. I do not mind blowdrying but I refuse to relax it as my hair has never been relaxed or permed.I am desperate because at the moment it looks as if my hair was cut with a cuisineart and I am seriously thinking of cutting it myself or getting a wig.
