If nothing else, I can have a really good laugh at my hair color....It is bright (light) red 2 - 3 inches at the root and a mocha brown the rest of the way past my shoulders (My 3 year old niece even pointed out the color difference). Believe it or not....this was a "professional" job.Natural state of my hair: It is fine, but I have a lot of it, just past the shoulders, and naturally a medium ash brown. Before coloring: I had used Clairol Nice and Easy Auburn on my hair a couple of months prior to this experience. It came out more med. brown than it did Auburn. It also has a 2 month old perm in it.After coloring: bright red at roots, brown at the ends. Slightly dry....but not split. What I EVENTUALLY want: A med-dark Auburn (less brown, and less blue to it).My immediate concern is to get this straightened out. My hairdresser acted like it was the same color....but offered to put a temp. color on it. I'm not sure I trust that considering how BAD it came out the first time.Any thoughts? If anyone knows of someone that does a great job in color correction in Metro (North) Atlanta, that I could actually get in to see in the next week or so....that would be great. Home remedies also welcome (I think I do a pretty good job of my own hair!)Thanks!Kel
