It seems that most people on this discussion board have trouble with hair that's too curly or thick. I have the opposit problem. My hair is dark blonde, medium length, straight and fine.I have broken strands of hair and my hairdresser has told me that this is because I'm breaking it when I blowdry or put it in a ponytail. She suggests deep conditioning to strenghten each strand but when I do this then my hair seems even more fine and unmanageable than before. Any suggestions for products that will help the strength/health of my hair without making it finer? Thanks.Kate

Mine is layered and med length. It works well for me. As for blowdrying I have to so i get some oomph in it. I have been using Redkin glypro shampoo for fine hair and i have the same conditioner but i rarely use it. If ido just atiny bit on ends. Conditioner really flattens my hair and I don't need it any flatter. Iuse the Amplify gel and rootlifter with blowdrying and it gives pretty much volume. As for your ends trims more often might help. Can't wear ponytails cause nothing stays in my hair, falls right out. Maybe another stylist would help. I know it's really hard to find one that is good with our type of hair. Sometimes also try the opposite of what they tell you and see how it works. There have been times I did and my crappy hair got really great. Hope some of this helps. Sue

Sue
