I live in Colorado and winter is approaching along with very dry conditions, meaning no humidity. I am looking for products that someone can recommend that is perferably alcohol free hair spray. I used to use LISSEE NATURAL but they sold the company and no longer makes the product. I have searched for a long time. Help. Thanks!!!!!!! Rose

Generally, hairsprays without alcohol do not hold as well or dry as fast. However, if you have a Sally`s near you, try Aura Witch Hazel Hair Spray or Resque Alcohol-Free Hair Spray. In my experience, they have similar holding power as those with alcohol. I haven`t tried it myself, but my a friend swears by Honeybee Organics Wheat Therapy Alcohol-Free Hair Spray. You can order it at http://www.honeybeegardens.com/hair.htm - http://www.honeybeegardens.com/hair.htm By the way, I know just what you are going through since I used to live in Colorado myself. I live in Florida now - PLENTY of humidty here. Good luck!!

Unfortunately, Garden Botanika closed all their stores and they`re only online now, but I got a product from them that is absolutely AMAZING. It makes my hair feel extremely soft and healthy for a week after use. It is their Russian Silt Hair Mask. It works best when I apply it just before I get out of the shower. I then wrap my hair in a towel and wait 30 minutes to rinse it out. The heat rising off your head generates a bit of steam that gets trapped in the towel. This helps the mask penetrate more. I hope this helps.
