I''d grown it so long past my waist that It was becoming uncomfortable - too heavy and always in the way. I''d never voluntered for a haircut in my life and really didn''t know where to go. I shopped around for somenone who could trim off about a foot, leaving me with down to my bottom rib. Some people I knew were untrustworthy(wanting to shave), some were cluless (ooh, dunno if we can do that, we,ve never cut dreads before), one even complained I''d ruin her scissors!
Eventually I found a very nice hairdresser called Sabrina. She''s got purple & black dreads for life herself and is an expert dealing with other people''s.
I was still a bit nervous, but had no need to be, she cut 30 cm off using a razor to taper the ends.
Now it''s a comfortable length and I''ve got a hairdresser I can trust! I know I''ll always keep them now.
