Hello everyone, I'm a caucasion male with meduim length hair. About an inch and a half past my eyes. It is very straight and thick. I've been thinking about putting dreads in my hair, but I think braids might be the better solution for me. Since I would be able to take braids out and liberty spike my hair. What do you all think? Dreads are much easier to mantain, but are they as sexy as braids? How do you feel about males with braids? Dreads? I'm sure Ill think of more questions as soon as I post this... Thanks in advance! |

dreads are HORRIBLY hard to maintain. alot more then braids. my husband had dreads last year & i did all of the work on them, it would take me about an hour and a 1/2 to 2 hours to work on it every few days. that is, if you want them done right they will take alot of time & patience.. youll need to find one dedicated friend to help you out with that one.. good luck! ------------- |

Some people start their locs off as braids/twists and just leave them in until they loc up. ------------- Natural BC May 9, 2004 |
