When I"m out and about, I see other people's hair, especially notciing the sides. It's flat, pretty near the skin. I'm asian and my hair there sticks straight out when I grow it kinda long. Will it grow flat if I grow it longer? If not, how can I make it so?

That's not only an Asian problem-- I'm a white chick whose hair grows weirdly, and it drives me mad, as I can't wear my hair all the ways I'd like to because of it :-( . Generally, growing hair longer and letting its own weight pull it flatter is the best way to get it to go down, unless you spend a lot of time forcing it flat with a lot of product.
