I want a different hairstyle, I don't want to cut it much.
I'm just lost at what I want my hair to be like, I've heard about this "layered" style before, I'm not really sure what it will look like. But I'm looking for something that doesn't need gell or wax, something managable with just a comb.

My hair is straight, slightly wavy. and if I flatten it on my forehead it reaches my eyes.

I was thinking something like this? except without the colour. How would I go about getting something like this?

I think that hairstyle is cute and may look good on you. I think the best thing to do is ask your hairstylist if that is possible. Is your hair somewhat like that already? Post a current pic of you ... maybe I could give you better advice.

I too am looking for a new hairstyle. I am sooo sick and tired of my hair! I've had this cut forever. People say that Asian girls have the most long, beautiful hair ... well BS ... that is not my hair ... lol! My hair is too thick, coarse and wiry. I must be on the wrong end of the spectrum here ... lol. My hair looks good after I have spent literally 1 hour on blowdrying and straightening w/ a hot iron. So I'm looking for a hairstyle that will take less time and more maneagle. Anyway, here's a pic of my hair now and the hairstyle that I would like. Also, I have read on Ask Karen that I have a SQUARE face, so I don't know how this cut will really look on me. Hopefully good. Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Shirwin

Okay. I don't know why that didn't work. Just copy and paste that URL and hopefully you see the haircut I want. And to see my pic, visit the website I made for school ...

hmm with that kind of hairstlye that you want, hair wax is a must, hair cant become naturally messy and layered like that. just keep you hair long, then go to a salon with that picture, they will know what to do. you need some high quality strong wax for that hairstyle.

Actually, that hair style would not look good on you. How you look is important if you're trying to look for a hair style. You need to have the right face to match well with the hair.
