Hey people, I have this silly question to ask (pardon me...) You see... Throughout most of my lifetime, I have been keeping real shorthair and recently I think I have enough of it and tried keeping long hair. But no matter what I do, my hair usually ends up standing like before. How do I keep my hair down? And how do I change my parting? I tried combing my hair towards the right while it's wet. But some strands of hair still stubbornly keep standing. It usually stays longer when I comb it towards the left. Thanks for reading and, if possible, your reply. |

What you need to do is let your hair grow longer, and these problems will go away. The weight of your hair will cause it to start laying down better, and then you'll be able to part it where you want. It'll probably take a year or so from where you are now. Some Asians use a relaxer to soften the hair. I suggest you invest in a few interesting hats for the times when your hair is annoying you. Growing out hair requires a lot of patience. -------------

A relaxer is a heavy-duty chemical usually made with lye (sodium hydroxide), which is a very strong base. Relaxers tend to corrode, so on a microscopic level they corrode the hair shaft to break down the hair strand bonds. With less bonds on the hair, the hair is softer, straighter, and/or more flexible. Most people get great results from relaxers. i know this is weird but you can change your hair part but it would be a long long long process. i used to have a part of my left side but i kep combing my hair back. As YEARS pass the part just dissolves. my friend also had a part on the side of his head but after years of parting in the middle, his hair part from the centre naturally. if i am not mistaked this they way some guys get waves on their head, the roots grow the way they want to create shapes and grooves on their head. ------------- ARGHH |
