Click on my signature, then Medusa's Lair. If you go into Cleansing Methods in the left hand menu, it will go into detail about cold rinses. This might help you.

The other possibility is that your hair has accumulated a lot of product buildup. Try a vinegar rinse: 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar in 2 cups water. Pour this through your hair after shampooing. Be sure not to get it in your eyes! Then rinse cold and condition your hair as usual. Vinegar will remove product residue that makes hair look dull or lifeless.

hmm indian and african mixed. exotic . wavy frizzy curly hair wont be shiny as str8 hair coz these type of hair absorb light instead of reflecting it like str8 hair.

You hair will have a sheen, it will not have a shine. From the information on your texture i would suggest try conditioning washes, use the plopp method to help reduce frizz, sheen is like a shoe made of leather, shine is like a shoe made with patent leather, 2 different things but it's like that for a reason.I'll get back to u on explaining the plopping method.

"detox shampoo"? Did you mean Clarifying Shampoo? Actually, the vinegar rinse is less damaging than clarifying shampoo. I stick with the rinse always (1/2 cup vinegar + 2 cups water)

(And stopped using shampoo for that matter, conditioners only). I would only use the clarifying shampoo if you didn't like the smell of vinegar.
