Firstly can I just say what a cool site this is. Basically I have been permanently dyeing my shoulder length hair dark brown for about 2 years now, naturally my hair is strawberry blonde. I would love to go lighter but need to know if it's possible without shaving my head first?  The products I have been using are 'Loreal's recital', and more recently 'Vital'. Please help!

You cannot lift color with color. I would highly reccomend you see a pro. I would start out with having the stylist highlight your hair and slowly each time you visit them, go lighter and lighter.
