Hey! Okay, I want to get my hair highlighted blue/purple. My hair is naturally dark brown, and wavy, about 2 inches below my shoulder. I want to get it cut, and I want hightlights. However, a couple of months ago, I lightened it with Garnier Lumia, and now it's like a red/brown (gold when it's in a lot of light), and I'm afraid the color I choose as highlights will clash with my color now. Should I use the Lumia or another color brand to darken it (the Lumia is really gentle on your hair)?

first of all, don't dye it anymore. what you'll need to do is get your highlights proffesionaly done which will require bleaching so the blue or purple doesn't clash with your current base haircolor.
