Just had to learn a lesson the hard way: The cheapest hairdye on the shelf will rid your hair of its natural shine. I'm just wondering, is there any chance the shine will return, that is, before it all grows out? |

Try a spray shine silcon type spray until it grows. But be easy with it, too much and it will go limp and oily. ------------- I am a professional Hairstylist/Haircolorist with 19 years experience. | To get the shine back, you'll probably have to do some intense conditioning treatments - ask your hairdresser, or recs from here! Assuming one has followed the instructions in the box, use a haircolor that has a decent conditioner with it - L'Oreal Preference and Excellence colors have a great conditioner enclosed. I've heard good things about the Feria conditioner too. I think the shine issue also has to do with what condition one's hair is in prior to coloring. Between colorings, use products for color-treated hair, and if you have hard water and/or use styling products, use a clarifying shampoo from time to time, followed by an intense conditioner. HTH! |

If Your Hair Is Blonde Or Red, Try Hask's Stay Red Or Stay Blonde Glossers And Shampoos/Conditioners..Ive Used The Glossers And Gels On My 2-Month Old Red and Its Made My Hair Shiny, Smooth,And The Color Is Richer, And Shinier...

How about a salon treatment with Shades EQ Clear or Elumen Clear? I've heard these are great for really giving hair a nice sheen in between coloring. ------------- |
