Hey Guy's I wanted to start a thread about a subject JulieTR and I have been discussing on another thread.
To Pay or Not To Pay...........................?
How do I handle a situation in the Salon, where I hate my color and it's absolutely NOT what I asked for? And let's even add...the stylist KNOWS it's not what I asked for. How do I handle it? Rationally.
Help me out here, maybe with your past experiences or suggestions.

Well, having been down this road in the past week, I can tell you that the most important thing would be to prepare IN ADVANCE for just such a situation. When you are in the colorist's chair and your hair is the color of the sky, it is tough to function through the panic. I would say to be very clear about what color you want and certainly say what color you absolutely can't live with. For example, "I would like a nice ashey blonde and don't want to see any brass or red."
My own experience has been an educational one. I paid the salon that screwed me up half-price for a head of hair that looks like a polished cookie cutter. I would not do this again. I would tell the manager that I don't care how much product they used; I did not go into the salon for red hair and I wasn't going to pay for it, as I would now have to pay someone ELSE to fix their mistake. If they insisted, then I would suggest to them that they call security, because I would walk out without paying them one cent (the color of my hair!)

So, I'm guess so far anyone reading this, has in their past Salon experiences, believed it was worth the money. No? Yes? Maybe just indifferent....?
