I am planning on a major color change ( medium brown to light blonde) within the next 6 months and am so confused about how to find a good colorist. I have never been to a colorist befor and havnt had a salon haircut in maybe 10 years! I have NO clue on where to start. Should they be 'certified'? Any help would be appreciated. I live in the panhandle of Florida. Thank you everyone. Kimberly

Thanks for the link. The problem is the closest certified colorist is over 100 miles away from me! Does anyone have any referals for around the Fort Walton Beach, Destin, niceville Florida area?

When ever you are at the mall, the park, work ect. and you see good looking hair color you like, stop and ask her where she had it done... I can almost bet that if you ask 15 or 20 one name will pop up more than a few times.
