A friend of mine wants to bleach her hair completely, pure white. She already has bleached it once (her hair is very short, maybe a 1/2-inch long all over) and it now is a yellow color. What should be the next step to make her hair completely white? Should she bleach it again? Use a different product? Wait?
She's using beauty supply products (the supposedly right ones--got help from the girl at Sally's ), so we haven't put anything entirely toxic on her hair. She used a deep conditioning hair mask as well to help her hair after the bleaching process.
How can we make her hair white?
Any help would be REALLY appreciated. Thanks!!!

She should bleach it again. And afterwards she could apply a very light blond hair dye if it's still not entirely white.

Don't wait, do it now, before she has any new growth.

She can bleach to pale yellow and use a toner to get a white color. But do not bleach past the pale yellow stage or the hair will break.
