Hi. I'm going to get my hair done. Are there any tips you have to make my hair color the best it can be (with the least damage with it)? I have thick black, long hair.  ------------- <3, k.E.l.l.y |

I'm thinking that you mean you'll be going to a salon to get your hair colored. My advice would be to not to wash your hair the day before your appointment. I had a hairstylist tell me that when I got my hair highlighted. It's easier to handle the hair when there's some of the natrual oils on it. I don't know if it helps in absorbing or keeping the color, though. ------------- |

You can wash your hair, just don't use conditioner, actually if you shampoo it that opens the pores. ------------- This is my signature. It's not a very good signature, but it's a signature nonetheless. |

I love long black hair, I think red goes best with it, as in red red. Get the front dyed and maybe stripes or tips, if you have thick black hair it's hard to dye it all, you'd definitely need to bleach it. ------------- This is my signature.
