I have blonde hair, but I want to dye it brown. I have a concern though. My friend has dyed her hair in the past. She said when it grew out, however, her normally blonde hair grew out a light brown color. She says that ever since her hair won''t grow out the blonde color it was before. Is this a common problem, an isolated case, or an exaggeration on my friends part? Any feedback on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I thought the roots usually do look darker than you remember your hair being, because it hasn't been exposed as much to sun, which can make it fade. Other than that, I'm not sure.

even when your hair is all naturally blonde, your roots come out darker but get lighter from the sun as they grow out. the brown dye wont effect your hair at all you just have to wait for it togrow out and it will get lighter from the sun.
