let's just state the facts here people.
- i'm a naturally dark brunette who dyes her hair a light blonde professionally - my hair is right about to the top of my chest - my hair is very very thick - i would rather kill myself than cut my hair
on saturday night i spent about 2 hours in the hot tub at a party. i was a little drunk, and i fell asleep without washing the chlorine out. when i woke up, my hair had just the tiniest tint of green. luckily i was going to get my roots done at the salon that day. my hairstylist noticed the green, but still bleached the roots and the rest of my hair..then used toner to make it an ashy blonde. they were closing so he dried the very front strand of my hair to see the color, and sent me on my way.
well, now i have an ashy dirty-blonde-brownish color on the bottom 3/4 of my hair and a very light blonde on the top, where the roots were. i'm about to go call my stylist, but i'm supposed to be going into the salon for a cut tomorrow anyway.
what do i do? do i pay another $100 or demand that they fix it for free?? HELP!!!!!!!

crazzzycait,
Oh, I'm sorry that happened to you, you have very pretty hair.
Show your stylist your hair and explain how unhappy you are with the results. If the stylist is professional he/she should realize their mistake and offer to fix the problem free of charge. If the stylist doesn't take the initiative then explain exactly what you want done and that you do not expect to have to pay for his/her coloring boo boo. Keep it matter of fact and non accusing. However; if that doesn't work, ask to speak to the manager or owner and calmly and matter of factly explain again the problem; the manager can see for themself how your hair turned out.
Good Luck, Twanda

hi im a hair stylist from boston, ma ok relax... this is what you need to do.. pick up a shampoo by avada... not sure of the name but its to get ride of the green hair, from the clorene in the pool, next use a cleaning shampoo every other day, i would say bumble and bumble, sunday shampoo.. then make an appt. with your stylist and have hi or her, tone you hair so that the color is egual from root to ends.. then go through and highlight.. and next time put your hair up in a ponytail..lol

If you are unhappy with what the stylist did to your hair, go back to that salon and demand that they fix it without paying again. You shouldn't have to pay again for they're mistake.
