i dyed my hair red for swim season along with my team. i have natural blonde hair and right now it looks maroon. it says it comes out in 28 washes, but with swimming every day and washing my hair twice a day it hasn't faded yet. what can i do?

Check out my thresd on fading unwanted haircolor, I have gotten a few replies. How light is your original blonde? Very light blondes often have problems with washout colors not really washing out. You also need to be wary of overdrying your hair becasue of swimming. Do you use a good swimmers shampoo? You really should use one to get rid of chlorine which builds up in hair and has a tendancy to change natural and dyed colors to weird shades. You may want to wait until swim season is over and then see a pro to get a color and super conditioning. Good luck to you.
