Hi everyone, ive been coloring my hair over 3 years now, i use Clairor Excellence (Mocha) color, i love the color, unfortunately, i have many gray hairs on the top of my head. When i color it, it gets kinda covered but you can still see its (light brown) like a forced color, and its very noticeable that i colored it.
Anyone here knows whats a better product, or how can i mix this, or tips to get a better result? Im new to these techinques
Thanks
Eve.

Hi Eve...I was VERY into permanently coloring my hair (decided to try a semi now) The brand that I used mostly was the "Loreal Excellence #6 Light Brown" and I had the same problems as you did with the greys...mine was coming out looking a golden blonde. I tried in January on a whim "Clairol Nice'N Easy #116 Natural Light Neutral Brown" and I can honestly tell you that this particuliar brand and shade gave me a true even all over color (including the greys) but the color was too light for me and left my hair feeling a little dry. I found that the "Garnier Nutrisse" and "Revlon Colorsilk" are a bit weak and fade after 2 shampoo's. My best experience was useing "Clairol Hydrience #44 Mocha Splash - Medium Brown" before the Loreal and it was GREAT! I wished I would have never have changed brands. It covered my grey's completely and left my hair in wonderful condition. Lastly...if your not into a brown hair color with reddish tones... then most definantly stay away from these 2 products "Loreal Preference" and "Cairol Herbal Essences" they will make whatever color your trying to achieve a reddish tone. Best of Luck to you
