I have dark brown hair,and want to color it black,i got some pretty good hair coloring products.Anyways,my goal was to grow my hair out and was wondering if coloring my hair was going to affect that goal.Can anyone help me out?

Black? Right on! I've tried every shade of black on the shelves. My favorite is Black Licorice by Garnier Nutrisse.

As far as I know, it won't slow growth.

I have heard that chemicals that damage and strip the hair of it's proteins and such can slow growth.

But as long as you condition afterwards and nurse it back to health, it'll grow normally.
