My hair currently looks like this, it used to be red but now it's faded to an orangey brown (Lighter and less red than in pics):

Basically, I want to go strawberry blonde or orangey blonde from that.
Bad Mockup:

How long should I bleach it for, and is it okay to? I can't find colourfix, but the bleach I have is meant for bleaching out colour as much as lightening, and the red is very faded and is more a slightly bleached out darkish orange now.

This is going to be tough. . . because your hair is permanently colored (you have regrowth), you have only a couple of options. 1. Getting a color remover (which will only lift your hair a couple of shades at best; given you haven't overlapped color on your ends every time. 2. Letting it grow out (which I know you don't want to do.) Red is the hardest color to remove from hair and if you even decide to do this, go to a professional. You DO NOT want to attempt this at home. You'll end up paying even more money in the long run to go get it fixed. Good Luck!

Most of the red has actually faded before. I once had some red dye bleached out before and it went totally fine.
