| I had blonde hair (natural, i haven't dyed my hair in a couple of years), and i wanted red hair....so i get something in the store and it turned my hair a wine color....it is pretty, but I am afraid that it isn't acceptable at my work... do you think it will fade to a pink? or a better color?? it is really red!! not a natural looking red... should i try to dye it again? what should I do? it also kind of damaged my hair...i don't want to damage it more...thanks for your advice.. |

Maybe if you did over it with a brown it would turn some shade of auburn? I pretty much use brown dye to cover any mistakes I make, though, so of course that would be my answer. *shrugs* ------------- More awesome than a manatee! |

I'm sorry!! Once when I was in highschool I dyed my hair an Ash blonde and my hair turned pink.. Horrifying.. LOL So Anyway., I feel your pain... I would either go to a professional and have them fix it OR I would try a darker red(or brown) and HOPE that it fixes the problem..Plus after you do it, buy a really good deep conditioner and a trim... hope this helps.. Thanks everyone...!! I tried the brown and that didn't work...i also look terrible with brown hair!! .....but i am getting married next week, so my mom is taking me out tomorrow to get my hair fixed professionally..lol ...and daddy(my fiance) is watching our 20 month old tomorrow...ha, ha!! lol he is going through terrible 2's.... ------------- |
