Thick pomades are fine but they don't allow the hair to move much while brushing compared to the gel pomades because they are so thick. Don't get me wrong they will still work but they are better for people who already have waves because they hold them in place. When I go out and I want my waves to stand out, I use the same pomade as you (Luster's S-curl Wave Control Pomade), but on an everyday basis I use only Moisturizing Lotion and Let's Jam. P.S. The brand of gel pomade or gel doesn't matter. Which ever brand you choose just remember that BRUSHING is the key!!!!!!!! 1 ------------- NOW THAT'S WASSUP CAUSE I SAID THAT'S WASSUP!!!
