Hey everyone New to this forum but i gotta a question.

right now i have really dark brown hair. But i wanna dye it jet black with red at the ends. Would that look right? the picture that I put in here is old but the hairs the same but u cant really see it very well. and if that wouldn't look right can someone recommend hair color for me? cuz i wanna do something different to my hair not just normal highlights or one color. nuthing to crazy though. I wanted to do it like Rouge in Xmen2 with that one blonde streak in the front but that wouldnt look right. somone help! ive never colored my hair b4 and i'm dying to do something different!!!! and i also have very thin hair and i hear coloring it makes it thicker?

If your hair is as dark as it looks in the pics, red dye probably won't show up unless you bleach first. Since you just want to tip it red, I wouldn't think there would be too much risk in going to the Hot Topic or whatever for a bleach kit and some blood-red dye and trying it yourself, if that's what you have in mind. *shrugs* If it doesn't turn out well or doesn't look right, it's just a bit at the ends, so you could just trim it off and be done with it. If you're not sure the black will look all right, you could get that at the Hot Topic, too, so it's more likely to wash out completely. Since it looks very dark already, though, it might be close enough to black that it won't leave too bad a regrowth line for the black, whatever you use, if you wanted to go the everyday dye brands route. It's just up to you (and how dark your hair looks in normal light rather than photos) which way you feel safest doing it.

Dear Lucky
If your not sure there are colors that wash out in a few days mayby less their temporary, and you can experiment without haveing to commit.Unfourtunatley I dont know the brands.
As far as mackeing hair thicker I never heard that before.
I started coloring my wifes hair 2 years ago,and each time it gets a little better.I started out useing Feria Highlight.Wich is really simpile and come with easy to follow instructions as well as a streacking wand.It will easilly give you the results you want.
After that you will get more confidence and move on to different products, but Feria colour strands is a great place to start. You might try the C-50 mahogany vibes on your natural hair color, without coloring your hair black.I belive it will give the effect your looking for.
GOOD LUCK!
