Go with the darker one (NOT Wynonna's) but have some honey blonde highlights put in with a lighter blonde around the face.

I have my hair currently at that color right now and love it.I've dyed my dirty blonde hair red for 6 years, both in a salon and at home. Red does fade really fast. HOWEVER. . . .
It all depends on how you treat your hair after you color it. You should use a shampoo for colored hair, i love the Biolage line. Also, Artec makes shampoos and conditioners that are color depositing and REALLY help in keeping up your color. I've used color depositing shampoos and conditioner for 3 years now and wouldn't know what to do without it. Matrix by Biolage also has some color depositing conditioners for red heads.
If you're going red, you have to be prepared for a bit of fading but with some upkeep it looks fabulous! And they say blondes have more fun. . . .

Be sure and communicate well with your stylist when you go for your color or else you may end up with what SHE wants for you. When i was going to a stylist to have my hair colored, we had switched at one point to the "Artec" colors. Their reds are known for not fading as bad and then of course, they have the line of color depositing shampoo and conditioners to complement your new color. There are like 4 or 5 different shades or shampoo and conditioner to choose from for reds.
Oh, check out the website for MTV's Real World and you should be able to go through pics of all of the cast for each episode. Hope ya' find a pic that will help you out!

Good luck!

i love the "Artec" color, it didn't seem to be as harsh as the color i had used before. I don't know what my stylist used before we switched to Artec. SORRY. Find a good pic of the color you want and take it to your stylist. he/she should do a test strand to make sure it comes out just the way you want before coloring away.
Explain if you want a warm shade or cool shade, coppery, true red or auburn so that you will be sure to leave with the exact color you want. My colorist was great but i could never get across that i wanted a warm shade and kept getting a cool color. i ended up starting to color myself, at home, which can be tricky for red hair; but i did end up with the shade i wanted!
Whatever brand you ask your stylist to use, a color-depositing shampoo and/or conditioner is the way to go to keep up your new shade. And start using it right away after coloring. if you use the shampoo, it says to alternate with a shampoo for colored hair.
Keep us posted as to what happens!
