I'd like to do either highlights or tips. If it messes up my hair it is no big deal, I can cut it and wait for it to grow back. Please let me know what you think is good. I've never done this before and need your help.

Home highlights are very hard to get to come out well, as they'll often go orange and/or splotchy/streaky/otherwise uneven. Since you seem very casual about whether or not you mess up and have to cut it off, though, I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a go, as long as you're careful.

I have chose just to dye the tips blonde. My friends mom is a hair stylist, and I'm going to have her put them in for me. Hopefully it works.
