I just bleached my medium brown/red hair with highlights. They came out good in spots and spotty in other places, and way too blonde. I was thinking of dying all of my hair with a light brown shade to tone down the highlights. How quickly can you redye bleached hair without it freaking out?
I wanted to redye it tonight or tomorrow.

I've redyed the same day before after screwing up, but I'm sure that's really, really not recommended. *sweatdrops* Probably would be healthier to wait at least a day or two, for the oils that protect your scalp adn all. If your hair is in poor condition, maybe a week or two, so you can condition the heck out of it first. *shrugs*

They usually say wait 24 hours. But I would at least wait about a week, so your hair can rejuvenate the oils on your scalp.
