I like the way black hair looks with red streaks or highlights, especially if they're an unnatural red, like cherry or burgundy. But I have a thing for very intense, unnatural reds, anyway, whether just streaks or all over. There's a ruby-red "Garnier 100% Color" thing I would practically kill to try just once :-) . I just don't know if trying anything that drastic right now is a very good idea, since I have a wedding to attend in just a couple of months. . . *stops rambling now before this becomes a book*

I like the way it looks, too...and it's very easy to achieve.
I'd say, try the Garnier, if you want to. If it's not quite right for the wedding, I'd either tone it down ahead of time, or just try a 6-12 shampoo rinse in a more natural color. They fade off very quickly, and from personal experience don't effect the previous color much, if at all :)
Be BRAVE :D
