HELP!!!! is there any way to cover bleached hair!?! do you think the salon hair colors can cover the bleached hair?? i want my hair red(not BRIGHT red)

That's odd that the color isn't taking on your bleached strands. I've never had a problem covering hair that's been lightened. And I've bleached my hair and re-colored to go from a dark brown to a caramel blonde. After all, hair colorants work by stripping the color out (with peroxide) and then dye-ing the strand.
What colors do you use? Cool? Warm? Neutral/Ash? If you're using any sort of golden shade (and red is a warm shade), the yellowish aspect probably will not disappear completely.
A salon should be able to fix it at any rate.

i had my hair highlighted and she pulled it through the cap and used bleach.. my hair had platnum blonde streaks in it.. and i have med brown hair.i used redken shades eq hair color.(semi perm. color)used a color close to my natural color( or you can use a shade lighter) i have had good luck with it.. last for about 2 months.. providing you use shampoo... etc for color treated hair...you might try a semi perm. hair color, do it your self.. or get it down professionally.. good luck Sandy
