A friend of mine really wants to dye her hair kind of stripey, like tiger colours (she likes Tigers :D).

She really wanys it done vertically, but apparently that's very difficult. THe only way i can see it being done is it being done from the roots, dyed an alternating colour as they grow out, and grown out like that, but tha would take years.

A suppose horizontal might be okay, but I can't find any pictures of the style for her.

Could someone help? This is the picture she wants her hair to be like: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v193/Tigress_Trinity/tigress.jpg - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v193/Tigress_Trinity/tigress.jpg

Except maybe with thicker and more gradiated streaks.

Her hair is mid back, but she may cut it like that sometime.

You mean she wants horizontal stripes? Vertical would be the ones you get when you foil, cap, etc...

Try painting them on (bailage?) - if you can get a thick enough solution.

Two questions: does she want to do it herself, or does she want a stylist to do it?

What color is her hair? Is is a nice medium golden brown, so she could just color on the black stripes, or is it dark enough that it would have to be lightened a lot in sections?

A stylist should be able to help you. Whether she can do it herself would depend on her answer to the second question, in my opinion.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
