hey all, Well my hair is somewhat a big disaster. A while back, like 2 years ago, I dyed my hair this really pretty reddish-brownish, but it came out completely orange! lets just say I freaked out and dyed it back to be my natrual color, which is a medium brown. anyways, I couple of weeks later it turned back to be brassy, but not as bad, but still bad enough to be a problem. So I have been struggling with this for two years now and I am fed up with it. Last spring I dyed it back to be brown again, and of course in a week or so it was brassy again. Plus, over the summer, the top of my hair turned really brassy and light, almost like strawberry blonde. so now my roots are medium brown and the ends of my hair are strawberry blonde. Lovely isn't it? I am just so sick of this, does anyone has ANY idea or advice to help me?

Maybe you can try a filler added to your color to make it hold longer. Just ask In someplace like Sally's Beauty Supply. You can buy fillers in brown to add to your color. it's cheap and easy. What they do is basically fill your hair so the color doesn't slide out.

Hi, I would suggest visiting a colorist to fix this. He/she will know what to do to in order to counteract the brassiness. Choose your colorist wisely, since they're not all created equal.
Good luck!
