So, for the longest time i have been trying to dye my hair back to my natural hair color of dark brown. Last night it turned pitch black. I need to get may hair back to brown before Sunday,because i have my senior pictures, but i can not afford to go the salon untill mid october. does anyone know what i can do? Please Help me.

I understand your dilemma - and since you say you cannot afford a salon until mid-october, there is something you can try at home that may help. Try washing your hair a couple of times with Prell shampoo or Dawn dishwashing detergent. That may actually help fade the color a little faster. You mentioned your natural color is dark brown - that's not a far cry from black. So I'm guessing you wouldn't need too much fadage to get back to your natural. Make sure you condition well afterwards, since this will be very drying to your hair.
Other than that, I'd have to recommend a salon. They have nice, gentle color removing products that they could use to lift some of that black out. Whatever you decide to do, good luck.

Try getting colorfix at sally's. It's a permanent hair color remover..this should do the trick!

Thanks, i tried the dish washer detergent and it did fade alot, i could actually see the dye coming out. So i am gonna do that maybe once or twice more, then do a hot oil treatment.
