Hey has anyone else noticed this product on the shelves lately? Its supposed to take brunettes to blonde w/out bleaching, so a highlift color. Also there is excellence intense reds, prob somthing like the power reds by feria. Anyways if any of u have tried this, what's the verdict? I bet it'll take level 1 to and orange shade though...

I tried it last week. I used AA01 Ultra Light Ash Blonde. I did a test strip on my natural med. auburn hair and got no lightening whatsoever. I eventually left the test strand in the product for over an hour and still, no effect. I can't imagine that it would actually lighten brown hair to blonde.

I had much better luck with Feria 100 Pure Diamond. I achieved some mid-tones of dark honey blonde with one application.

The best product by far, though, is CLAIROL HERBAL ESSENCES XL10 LIGHTEST BLONDE. It took my hair to a med. honey blonde in one step. (I left it on for 45 minutes).

I ended up using the leftover Excellence Blonde Supreme to tone down some of the warm tones left in my hair.

P.S. The photo on the left is my natural colour, not the new one.
