I just want to know is it safe for me to color my hair using either of these hair colourant after I relaxed my hair. I already dyed my hair before, but now I plan to have it relaxed and then I hope to have it darken again. Should I use the semi permanent because I heard it was safe to use it directly after relaxers because of its gentle nature, or should I go with ammonia free colourant so that it would be permanent, yet it SUPPOSELY gentle because it is ammonia free.

If I were you, I would definitely go with the semi-permanent. It really is much more gentle than any type of permanent colour. I find that my hair often feels softer after using Clairol Natural Instincts.
