I've heard that this product doesn't work very well. Some people have experienced no lightening at all, others saw an orange tint appear in their hair, while others have ended up with lightened "splotches" after using it a few times. I don't know what lightening ingredient it uses, but I assume it's peroxide or something similar. This will cause some damage to your hair and the results are iffy.

If you want highlights, you're much better off going to a salon and asking the stylist if it is safe to highlight your hair. Is your hair damaged from the relaxing process? Processing relaxed hair usually isn't recommended. If your hair is still in good shape, and you can't afford a salon, the only at-home product I would recommend is L'Oreal Creme Lights highlighting kit. It is designed for colour-treated hair and is very gentle.

Aww man. A waste of 4 dollars. i guess I'll give it to my mom then. I don't mind taking the risk of splotchiness or orange hair. I would just put it on the strands I want for highlights instead of all over. But I don't want to risk breakage and making my hair dry and stuff. thank you anyway.
