Okay.. I recently decided to lighten my natural dishwater blonde color and ended up going to a strawberry blonde. What can I use to counter act to tone down the orange look I've got going. Some at work suggested to use an Ash Color. Any ideas?!?

Have you tried a blue or purple shampoo like Silver Brights or Clairol Shimmering Lights? They can tone down orange. You'll notice the effects after using them a couple of times.

If that doesn't tone the orange down enough, try a test strand with a semi-permanent colour or a toner. I use Natural Instincts 06 Linen (medium ash blonde); it gets rid of all the orange and yellow in my hair and gives me a natural-looking blonde with no brassiness. I've also had success with Born Blonde semi-permanent toner in Winsome Wheat. Clairol Creme Toner in Towhead can neutralize orange nicely, too. Just look for a toner or semi-permanent colour with a blue or violet base.
