As per recent advice. I am unsure on what to do with the root area as i have a few low and high lites in my hair. Replies: Posted By: Susan W Date Posted: November 19 2004 at 7:05am If you really love it the way it is, with brown lowlites, you need to go to a salon so someone can stand behind your hair and do a good job getting your highlights just where you need them on your roots. It's too difficult to do it at home when you can't properly see the back of your head, and it would be even more difficult to do a highlighting job where you're trying to avoid getting it on some of your hair (because if you want to keep brown lowlites, you don't want to just dye your roots blonde. I just need a solution for my root area only i have read other messages and people have sugested bleach and then toner on roots. If there hair is dark. Any recommendations on products to use? Is this okay to do on my hair as it's dark brown/black at the roots will i need to double process the root area only so it matches rest of hair?. thanks -------------
