Alright, I am in a play that is coming up here shortly. I would like to dye my hair blue but my mom is worried that if I do, she is going to have to pay a ton of money to get it dyed back to it's original color. (I have fine blonde hair) Is there anyway that I can dye it blue and get it out without making it feel like straw? If I have to go to a professional, about how much would it cost to dye it back?

Are you dying it for the play? If not...could u wait to dye it after the play. Also there are semi permanent dyes that last until like 6 to 10 washes. That way it won't be permanent and no one has to redye it.

It's supposed to be blue for the play because my character has Blue hair. I already bought the hair dye that I would like to use, it is "Beyond the Zone" semi-permanent color.

it could be very hard to go back to your natural color after you dye your hair blue... Kinda like a brunette trying to go blonde. I will fade out but probably your hair will be blue for months.. I wouldn't advise you to do this. maybe you can wear a wig.. I've dyed my hair before like this for theatre roles and stuff. And it costs me about $150 to go back to my blonde color.

Plz don't do this to your hair

your mom is probably right

Definitely get a blue wig and have it styled as you need it. Much easier and cheaper.

Bronzed beauty...is right. Just because it say's "semi" permanent, does NOT mean that it will be gone in 4-6 weeks, especially in a dark color.

And $150 sounds about right o remove it...but it will not necessarily return to your own color with no damage. The wig sounds like a good idea.
