No...almost never. It of course depends on what you used on your hair to begin with.

In Many cases once you've colored your hair with permanent color or highlighting or a lighter color...your hair is already changed forever.

If you are using it to remove semi-permanent color, it just totally depends on the depth of color your removing and the condition of your hair to begin with.

In most cases when you use a color remover you almost always have to color your hair afterward...just to tone or normalize the color.

I don't know if you can buy it in stores in the UK. You could use Igora Modulat instead, if you can find that. It's very similar to ColorFix. (Stay away from Effasol, though. It's very damaging. Metalex can be hard on your hair too.)
